RP Circuits can fabricate many types of membrane switches. We support tactile or non-tactile buttons, polydomes or metal, deep or shallow embossing, clear windows laminated to texture overlay, two-layer circuits and thru-hole technology. We are able to embed single compents, such as LED’s or we can work with more complicated circuits.

Typical membrane circuits use a silver-filled polymer thick-film ink printed on a polyester or polyimide substrate. Components (LED’s) are attached using silver-filled epoxy. The other layers use industry-standard adhesives, spacers and graphic overlays.

Graphic overlays are produced by printing digital inks on hard-coated polyester films. The transparent digital inks are opacified using a brilliant white polyester, to effectively “flood coat” the overlay. This printing tecnology can support complex gradient images and true photographic quality. We are able to offer full-key embossing, as well as engineering services and graphic design.

Laser Die Cutting
RP Circuits utilizes a state-of-the-art laser cutting system that can hold dimensional tolerances of +/-0.005 inches , or better if required. Maximum part size is 24″ x 24″. We can also cut under a nitrogen, argon or other atomosphere, if required.
